CardConnect SwyftPAY was started out of frustration with traditional credit card processing companies. We are a partnership company who set out to be different by protecting members with a transparent pricing structure. Our program gives members direct access to the base rates established by credit card brands, allowing them to bypass percentage markups and extra fees. What is the Actual Cost from Visa/MasterCard?

Every time a customer swipes a credit card, the merchant must pay a small percentage of the transaction to whichever card brand (Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Discover) is involved. This mandatory, universal fee is known as the Actual Cost. Unfortunately, many processing companies quote their rate (the Actual Cost their processing markup), but merchants are unaware that they are paying an unnecessary markup. At CardConnect SwyftPAY, we never profit from rates, meaning our members never pay more than the Actual Cost.

The buying power of our partnership plan allows us to provide access to these Actual Cost “wholesale” rates without any markup and in turn, give those savings right back to members. At CardConnect SwyftPAY, we are committed to providing our members with an exceptional value

Which plan is right for me?

If a member processes more than their plan authorizes, the member’s account will be moved up to the appropriate plan (based on sales volume) upon annual renewal3

How soon can I get set up?

Our online application takes only 10 minutes to fill out. Approval time is usually 24 hours. Once you are approved a representative will contact you to go over your equipment options.

What is PCI?

PCI is a mandatory certificate required annually by credit card brands to keep merchants accountable for protection of cardholder data. CardConnect SwyftPAY proactively includes this certificate in each membership plan as a means of protecting its members. Most other companies will charge $100 or more a year to obtain this certificate, but usually do not disclose this fee to customers upfront.

What is the key entry virtual terminal?

This virtual terminal allows you to key enter credit card transactions on any web browser on any device. Ideal for businesses with fewer daily transactions or as a back up in the event you experience an equipment problem.

Why don't you offer free equipment on all membership plans?

Since we can reprogram existing terminals for free and many members do not need to purchase new terminals upon sign up, we do not offer free equipment in an effort to keep our prices low for everyone. We do offer a free smart terminal for those who sign up for the Gold package as a way to keep our members up to date on the latest technology.

How do I get approved?

All banks require businesses to go through an approval process to protect against potential fraud.  At CardConnect SwyftPAY, this process is usually completed within 24 hours.

Does CardConnect SwyftPAY service businesses outside of the United States?

No. At this time, Ignite Maple Grove can only service businesses in the United States.

Yes. Due to their high risk status the following businesses are prohibited: accounts receivable and billing, adult oriented, advanced payments older than a year, airlines, online or non face to face alcohol sales, non financial institution cash advance, cash gifting, chain letters, check cashing establishments, collection agencies or assets recoveries, identity theft services, credit repair, cruise lines, currency exchange, debt consolidation, drug paraphernalia, extended warranty companies, online firearm or weapon sales including ammunition, online gambling, get rich quick schemes, golf clubs, healthcare plans, loan modification, lotteries or raffles, medical marijuana, lifetime membership clubs (health and sports), money transfer services, online pharmacy, designer name products replicas, special incentives or rebates, lifetime subscription service, online tobacco sales.

How soon are funds deposited into my account?

Funds are deposited directly into your account within 24 to 48 hours.

Can I still use Authorize.net for my website?

Yes. We can integrate your existing Authorize.net account with CardConnect SwyftPAY or we can set up a new account for you.
